MOZARTSERENADEN-ENSEMBLE The „Mozartserenaden-Ensemble“ was founded in 1986 to perform the works of Mozart and the Viennese Classical Period. Founder and artistic manager of this ensemble is the conductor and viola player Harald Nerat. To guarantee a high level of performance the Salzburger Mozart-Serenaden unit outstanding musicians from Salzburg but also internationally famous soloists. Concerts in Salzburg as well as overseas including Japan are on regularly. Mainly - but not only - music by Mozart and his contemporaries from Quartet to chamber orchestra is on the program. The Light-Hearted Mozart in Historical Costumes is a very successfully operating event performed by this ensemble. In 1999 the premiere of this production took place during a tour in Japan. |
